Back From MIA

I'm back!!!! Yes I know I've been MIA for sometime now...So now's the updates for the rest of June 2012...

The road trip down to KL went as planned.... Starting from 9am in the morning on 19th June 2012, woke up and get ready for  the trip after a light breakfast... at about 10am++ we start our journey back to Bie's hometown in Ipoh...

This is the first time going down to Ipoh with him and gonna stay overnight at his house which also means meeting his mum, dad, brother and little did I know... I met even more than that... lol...

We reach Ipoh in the afternoon after a 1.5 hours drive... went straight for lunch at the "Under The Tree" which is real good...

Then went to the newest shopping mall, Station 18. After that, we went back to Bie's house and only his mum was at home together with the little boy his mum is taking care of.  It was awkward as usual for me to be in a total stranger's place. But his mum was really friendly ..phew...a relief

We rest a little watching TV and wait for everyone to be home for dinner. As planned by Bie, we are going to have Claypot Chicken Rice and it's actually with his aunt, grandma & niece as well. I didn't know that he got such a big family and I can see the closeness among everyone of them which is really cool...

After the dinner, we went for a short walk at the pasar malam... nothing much different from the one in Penang but there's this special thing that I tried out...

Haha YESH>>>> Stinking Bean Curd..... whua.... but it really is not that bad like what they show on TV ..probably because this is like level 3/10..... the real stinks is like level 10.... but it is ok snack for me that I might not try the second time not cause it stinks but there's nothing much special bout this actually...

Went back home and spend the rest of the night in front of the TV watching Astro Beyond and listening to what the rest of Bie's family talk / joke about...

So I guess this is it for the first day.... everything went well and can't wait for the trip the next day which is by Train to KL.... my first time in train.... yahooo..... bucket list shrinking....
